Allison Rand
Allison grew up in Pennsylvania, moved to Maryland for undergrad, lived in Los Angeles for 9 years, had a stint in Arizona for graduate school before landing in Texas. She received her BS in Marketing and BA in Spanish Translation from the University of Maryland College Park, and her MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ.
Allison has worked in HR and Payroll since 2015. She completed her HR certification (SHRM-SCP) in Dec 2020 and is a certified executive coach (CEC) as of Sept 2021. She also took on Safety Manager responsibilities at her last firm and has her OSHA 30 certification.
Allison joined SHM Architects in April of 2023. She was drawn to the emphasis on culture and people, as well as the use of Predictive Index, and EOS.
When not working, Allison enjoys cardmaking and crafts, personal development, pickleball, nearby weekend getaways, reiki, yoga, meditation, and Latin ballroom dancing.
