Andrew is a Fort Worth native and has always been fascinated with residential architecture. He spent most of his childhood drawing floorplans and schematics and knew early on that architecture was his passion. He studied at Texas Tech and UT Arlington and graduated in 2010.
Andrew realized early in his career that residential architecture allowed the opportunity to get to know the clients as they envision their homes and gave way to more creative design and problem-solving compared to the commercial sector.
Before joining SHM, Andrew spent almost a decade managing and creating client experiences for architectural companies while designing homes not only in Westlake and the Park Cities, but across the country.
A true people person, Andrew volunteered abroad for several years and spent that time coordinating operations for a charitable clinic and learning institution in Central America. He later created his own non-profit organization in Guatemala that he directs in his spare time. He can also be found live translating English to Spanish services for a local church, woodworking and remodeling his home, and chasing down his next classic car.
