Anna rhees
Anna grew up in Vermont and lived in Virginia and New Zealand before moving to beautiful Colorado.
She majored in architecture at the University of Virginia, graduating in 2014 with high honors and the Edgar Shannon Award. Anna joined SHM’s Crested Butte office in 2023.
Anna began her architectural journey as a teenage carpenter, starting her first design-build at 22. She enjoyed the design process so much that she returned to school to get her degree in architecture. A background in art and construction has given Anna a great appreciation of the beauty of perfect simplicity, and living in many different locations has given her a fascination with achieving a real feeling of home for her clients in her architectural projects.
When she’s not in the office, Anna loves spending time skiing, building, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Chris.
