Jaden Dement
Jaden grew up in Clyde, Texas just outside of Abilene. He studied Architecture and Interior Design at Abilene Christian University. There, he met his wonderful wife, Zannah and shortly after graduating, started working at a small Commercial Architecture firm in Abilene. Before moving to the DFW area, Jaden and his wife got the opportunity to spend the summer in McCarthy, Alaska volunteering at the local Historic Museum and exploring the beautiful Wrangel St. Elias National Park.
Jaden started with SHM in September of this year and couldn’t be more thankful to share his passion for designing beautiful and thoughtful spaces with such a fantastic team. His appreciation for architecture began when he was a kid playing with Legos and building model airplanes in his room. Of course, he didn’t know it at the time, but that exploration of form and joinery is what eventually led Jaden to the profession.
In his spare time, he enjoys working with materials like wood and steel as Jaden is always looking for the next furniture project to take on.
