Kristina Stukalin
Kristina was born and raised here in Dallas, TX and attended The Episcopal School. After graduating, she headed north to Washington and Lee University in Virginia where she studied Business Administration with a focus in entrepreneurship and marketing. Although she enjoyed her studies at undergrad, Kristina knew she always wanted to work in the design field. This took her further North to the New York School of Interior Design where she got a degree in Interior Architecture and Design.
After graduating with a design degree, Kristina worked at a residential firm in New York until eventually deciding to return back home to Dallas, TX. When she saw that SHM was hiring in early 2022, she jumped at the chance to work for them, as she grew up admiring their homes. Kristina describes my design approach as a mix of creativity, comfort, and functionality with a dose of modern style. Her favorite quote as it pertains to design is, “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be beautiful of believe to be useful” – William Morris.
When not designing houses, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her two dogs Peanut and Kai. She also enjoys vintage shopping, trying new restaurants and traveling.
