Kurt Lehecka, AIA, NCARB
Kurt joined SHM Architects in Spring of 2022. He is a registered architect in Ohio and Texas.
Originally from Northeast Ohio, he graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s in Architecture. He also earned a Master’s of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
His most recent position was working on sport architecture projects around the country including; the renovation to the Dallas Mavericks training facility, practice facility for FC Cincinnati, and soccer renovations to Bank of America Stadium for Charlotte FC.
Kurt moved to Dallas to escape the snow and to embrace his love of Tex-Mex, BBQ, and margaritas. He spends the majority of his free time swimming competitively on a U.S. Masters swim team. He and his wife also enjoy exploring Lower Greenville with their cavapoo puppy.
