Madi graduated with her Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2020. In her last year of school, she moved to Bishop Arts and was excited to join the team at SHM in Dallas.
With a deep love for design, construction, and theory, she was easily led to the profession. The desire to provide the highest level of detail and care to each project resonates deeply with her, and guides her decision making with each client. Through school, Madi was awarded the Topping Out Scholarship, held the position of Deans Doctoral Assistant, as well as won first place in a design competition on tiny homes held by AIA Fort Worth. She spent a summer studying in Japan, in addition to leading her graduate studio through a design-build project with the Housing Channel. She actively led UTA’s CAMP Mentorship Program and collaborated with COLUMNS Magazine during her thesis.
These experiences lead Madi to develop and lead SHM’s Internship Program. She’s found mentorship in both the profession and design as a rewarding experience for not only our interns but the staff of SHM, as well.
When not in the office, Madi enjoys keeping up with the Premier League and Formula One. She and her boyfriend spend the weekends exploring their neighborhood with friends. She looks forward to travelling more, perfecting her bread baking skills, and keeping up with all the books she collected through the years.
