Megan was born in New Mexico and raised in McKinney, Texas. Since childhood, Megan has had a passion for textiles (which stemmed from countless hours accompanying her grandmother to the fabric store), creating things by hand and reimaging spaces. Megan has always had a keen interest in how one space can evoke emotions in people, no matter their background, race, age, etc. and bring them together. These passions eventually led her to pursue an education in design.
Megan graduated in 2019 from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s of Architecture and minors in Interior Design and Business (Go Hogs!). Soon after graduation, Megan moved back to the DFW area to be close to her family and pursue a career with SHM where she felt she could combine her love for interiors and architecture.
When she isn’t working, Megan can be found cooking, taking pictures, playing fetch with her lab, Kaci, or carpool karaoke-ing to Dixie Chicks with her husband, Luke.
