Philip Pitzer graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 2010, going on to receive his Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver in 2012. Although he grew up planning to be an engineer, Philip took a drafting class in high school and has wanted to be an architect ever since.
Drawn to SHM’s residential projects and smaller firm size, Philip joined the team in August 2012. He considers himself a jack of all trades and enjoys tinkering with projects until he finds the patterns and rhythms that work together to create a unified, holistic design.
Philip is a member of the Institute of Classical Art & Architecture, and in his spare time he enjoys writing songs and playing the guitar, hiking (especially in Wichita Falls and Tyler, TX), and kayaking on White Rock Lake. He lives with his wife in Fort Worth, Texas.
