Sawyer Wilson was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico. Sawyer’s early interests in architecture were sparked through a combination of traveling and his experiences working with his grandfather, a contractor who built many homes across Southern New Mexico. He went on to study architecture at Texas Tech University, graduating in 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Architecture as well as a certificate in Urban Design.
Sawyer interned at SHM in the summer of 2016 and returned to work full time after graduating. His favorite part of working at SHM is the opportunity to work with the more personal architecture of the home which can truly have a positive impact on the lives of their clients. He also enjoys building both digital and physical architectural models.
In his spare time, Sawyer enjoys reading, watching sports or classic movies, hiking, and playing soccer. Sawyer joined SHM in January of 2017 and is excited to be living in Dallas.
